From Zero to 300,000: The Story Behind Arbaaa's YouTube Journey.

Arbaaa Marketing founder Ameer Albahouth shares the story behind growing his YouTube channel to 300,000 subscribers and what comes next.

I remember the day I uploaded my first video. I sat there staring at the screen after hitting publish, thinking: Will anyone actually watch this?

That feeling of uncertainty, mixed with a quiet but stubborn belief that this needed to exist, is where everything started. Today, our YouTube channel is approaching 300,000 subscribers, and I want to take a moment to tell you the real story behind that number.

I Saw a Gap and I Couldn't Ignore It.

When I started Arbaaa, one thing kept nagging at me. Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs, marketers, and business owners were hungry for real marketing knowledge, but the content available to them in their own language was either outdated, too theoretical, or just hard to find.

I wasn't trying to build a YouTube channel. I was trying to fix a problem.

So I made a decision: I would create the resource I wished had existed when I was starting out. No jargon. No fluff. Just practical, honest marketing education, delivered in Arabic, for our people, built around the realities of our Saudi market.

That was the foundation. Everything grew from there.

One Video at a Time

I won't pretend it was easy in the beginning. It never is. But I committed to one thing above everything else: value over everything.

I didn't chase trends. I didn't chase virality. I focused on making every single video something a viewer could actually use — real-world case studies, step-by-step breakdowns, strategies you could apply to your business the very next day.

And slowly, it started working.

In six months, we hit 60,000 subscribers. I was genuinely blown away. Then we crossed 100,000 in under seven months. I remember that day clearly — not because of the number, but because of the messages I received from people telling me how a specific video had changed the way they approached their business.

That's when I knew this was bigger than I had imagined.

This Is Not Just a Channel, It's a Movement

As we close in on 300,000 subscribers, I want to be honest with you: the number itself is not what moves me.

What moves me is knowing that 300,000 people, marketers, entrepreneurs, students, and small business owners across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, have chosen to spend their time learning with us. That they've shared our videos with their teams, applied our frameworks to their campaigns, and built better businesses because of what we've created together.

That is the real milestone.

Alongside the YouTube channel, we also built the Basics of Marketing podcast, which is now the #1 marketing podcast in Saudi Arabia. Both are expressions of the same mission: to raise the standard of marketing knowledge in the Arab world.

Why I Do This

When I founded Arbaaa, my vision was clear — to build the number one content marketing company in the GCC, to champion Saudi brands, and to contribute to Vision 2030 in a meaningful way.

The YouTube channel has always been a direct expression of that vision. Not a side project. Not a marketing tool. A core belief that Saudi content can lead, educate, and inspire at a regional — and one day global — level.

Approaching 300,000 is proof that our community believes in that vision too.

What's Next

If this journey has taught me one thing, it's that there is no ceiling when you build with purpose.

We're not slowing down. The content will get better. The community will grow. And the mission — to make world-class marketing education accessible to every Arabic speaker — will never change.

To every single subscriber who has been part of this ride: this milestone belongs to you as much as it does to me. Thank you for watching, sharing, and believing.

The next chapter starts now.
